Green Canyon is the large freshwater reservoir created by Oymapınar Dam on the Manavgat River, set in the Taurus Mountains about 45–60 minutes from Side. This full-day boat tour takes you away from the Mediterranean coast into calm emerald water surrounded by steep pine-covered cliffs.
After hotel pickup you transfer to the canyon harbour, board the boat and cruise roughly 14 km through the lake with several swim stops. The water is noticeably cooler than the sea (typically 18–22 °C), clear and refreshing. Lunch and unlimited soft drinks are included.
The experience suits families, couples and anyone who prefers quiet nature over busy sea boat parties. Note that Green Canyon is not Köprülü Canyon – there is no rafting here, only gentle cruising and swimming.
