Experience Highlights
About This Tour
Side now has its own professional indoor shooting range, right in the town center — and this is the easiest, safest way to experience it. Until recently, anyone wanting to try real firearms in the region had to travel 40+ minutes to Manavgat or Antalya. Not anymore. Our brand-new range is located just 1 km from Side's old town, making it a quick, convenient half-day activity that fits into any holiday schedule.
The experience is designed for complete beginners as well as those with previous shooting experience. You will choose between a 9mm or .22 calibre handgun and fire 30 live rounds (two full magazines) under the continuous supervision of a certified professional instructor. The range is fully indoor, air-conditioned, and soundproof — meaning it's a great activity regardless of the weather, including rainy days or the hottest afternoons.
After your shooting session, you can relax for about 30 minutes in the range's activity area, which features billiards, table tennis, foosball, chess, and free WiFi. Tea, coffee, or a soft drink is included. Expect the entire experience — from hotel pickup to drop-off — to take approximately two hours.
Important: A valid passport or official ID is legally required for all participants. This is Turkish law and the range will not allow entry without it. Bring it with you on the day.

Tour Information
Pro tip: Many visitors don't realize Side now has its own shooting range — they still book the older Manavgat tours with 40+ minute transfers. Ours is right in Side center, so you spend more time shooting and less time in a bus. If you want to try something more powerful than the included 9mm, the .357 Magnum revolver is a popular upgrade (about €15-20 extra on-site) and definitely worth it if you've never fired a magnum before.

First time shooting a real gun and it was brilliant. Instructor was patient and made me feel completely safe. The fact that the range is right in Side meant we didn't waste half a day traveling — in and out in 2 hours. Upgraded to the .357 Magnum, highly recommend it.
Booked this as a rainy-day activity and it was the highlight of our trip. Professional setup, clean range, and the activity area with billiards after was a nice touch. Staff spoke great English.
Excellent value for €75 with everything included. I've done shooting ranges in Prague and Budapest, and this is just as good. The 9mm was fun but the instructor let me try a couple of different pistols too.
Fun experience but bring your passport! My husband forgot his and they almost didn't let him in (they did in the end after checking his hotel ID). The shooting itself was great, just wish we had more time.
Perfect activity for a couple of hours. No hassle, VIP transfer picked us up right on time. I've never shot a gun before but felt completely safe with the instructor right beside me. Will definitely book again next year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need previous shooting experience?
Not at all. This experience is designed for complete beginners. Your certified instructor stays with you throughout the entire session, teaching you proper stance, grip, and safety procedures before you fire a single shot.
Is a passport really required?
Yes, absolutely. Turkish law requires valid identification for anyone using a shooting range. The range will refuse entry without a passport or official government-issued ID. Hotel ID cards or photocopies are not accepted.
What is the minimum age to participate?
The minimum age is 18 years old. Guests aged 15-17 may participate only with written parental consent and direct approval from the range instructor. Younger children can accompany adults as spectators at a reduced rate.
Can I drink alcohol before or during the tour?
No. For safety reasons, anyone showing signs of alcohol or drug intoxication will be refused entry to the range, with no refund. This is strictly enforced. Please enjoy drinks after the activity.
Where is the shooting range located?
The range is brand new and located in Side center, just 1 km from the old town. This is a major advantage over the older ranges in Manavgat or Antalya that require 40-60 minute transfers.
What firearms can I shoot?
The standard package includes your choice of 9mm or .22 calibre handguns (models like Canik SFX Rival, SAR 9, Colt 1911, Beretta, and Jericho are often available). Higher-calibre options like .45, .357 Magnum, and rifles are available for an additional fee on-site.
How many shots are included?
30 live rounds are included in the tour price, which equals two full magazines. Extra ammunition can be purchased on-site if you want to shoot more.
Is the shooting range safe?
Yes. The range is fully licensed, indoor, air-conditioned, and soundproof. All firearms are regularly inspected and maintained by professionals. Your instructor stays beside you at all times, and all safety protocols follow international standards.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows free arm movement. Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended — no flip-flops, sandals, or high heels on the range. Long hair must be tied back.
Can women participate?
Absolutely. Many of our guests are women trying shooting for the first time, and the instructors are excellent at making everyone feel comfortable regardless of experience level.
What if it rains on the day of my tour?
No problem at all. The range is fully indoor, air-conditioned, and soundproof. Rain, extreme heat, or wind will not affect the tour at all.
Are photos and videos included?
No, professional photos and videos are taken by the range staff but are an optional extra that can be purchased on USB after your session (typically €10-15).
Can I bring my own firearm?
No. Turkish law prohibits the use of unlicensed or personal firearms at shooting ranges. All firearms must be provided by the licensed range.
Is hotel transfer included from all areas?
Yes, VIP transfer is included from Side, Manavgat, and all surrounding resort areas (Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu, Titreyengöl, Sorgun, Kızılağaç). Transfer from Alanya or Antalya may involve an additional fee — please confirm via WhatsApp.
Can spectators come along?
Yes, non-shooters (friends, family, partners) can join the tour at a reduced spectator rate. They can watch from the observation area and use the activity facilities afterward.
What happens if I'm nervous about shooting?
That's completely normal, and the instructors deal with nervous first-timers every day. You can start with the smaller .22 calibre (which has very little recoil) and work your way up. You're never rushed, and you can stop at any time.
Are there any medical restrictions?
Guests with epilepsy, serious heart conditions, or severe mobility issues should consult their doctor before booking. Pregnant women are not permitted to participate due to noise exposure.
Can I book multiple sessions on the same day?
Yes, if you want to shoot more than the included 30 rounds, you can purchase extra ammunition on-site or book a second session. Speak to us via WhatsApp and we can arrange this.
What calibres are available as upgrades?
On-site upgrades typically include .45 ACP, .357 Magnum revolver, and various rifles. Prices vary by firearm but usually range from €15-40 for additional packages.
Is this tour suitable for couples or groups?
Perfect for both. Many couples book this as a unique shared experience, and groups of friends often turn it into a friendly competition. The range can accommodate multiple shooters simultaneously.
